August generally marks the beginning of the trickle of new snowboard kit hitting the shelves all over the world. It also is the time when all the film-makers launch their new flicks and manufacturers launch their websites showcasing all their goodies for the 08/09 season.
Being an interactive designer for a living, I have high standards when it comes to site design and it’ll take a pretty decent site to impress me. That being said, simple is always good to! Maybe its messing with something that don’t need messed with but Burton Snowboard’s 08/09 product line takes a brave move forward (or backwards depending how you look at it) with most of their high-end boards switching over to the “Infinite Channel System”.

Here’s the latest from Flux Bindings and I have to say their ‘09 range is looking like some of the best binders out there! Flux has been one of the few brands that I’ve never had a chance to ride, and although they as a company have been bad-mouthed over the last few years (team rider issues) their products are always met with great reviews. A 1% warranty rate can’t be bad for starters!
