August generally marks the beginning of the trickle of new snowboard kit hitting the shelves all over the world. It also is the time when all the film-makers launch their new flicks and manufacturers launch their websites showcasing all their goodies for the 08/09 season.

Given out by SIMA (Surf Industry Manufacturer’s Association) for the wetsuit that features the most exciting design, appeal, or innovation, Xcel won the award for it’s revolutionary Infiniti Drylock waterproof system, the next evolution of the Infiniti Series wetsuits that won Xcel these same honors last year. The award was announced May 19th at the annual industry conference in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

These days the average mid-level mountain bike is designed to tackle almost anything you throw at it with most possesing at least 4″ of front and rear suspension, disc brakes and 27 gears.
